Cancellation Policy

General Policy for Michigan & U.S. tours

Ireland 2024 Cancellation Policy can be found here.

The hotels and accommodations I usually partner with are flexible and often allow cancellation until the very last days before your trip. But still, there is cost and risk for us to arrange group travel. Some expenses are non-refundable to us. Therefore,

If you cancel 120 days or more prior to the start date of your trip:
You will be given a full refund minus a $150 processing fee.
Processing Fee: When we provide a refund, we lose money from PayPal, Venmo and the credit card companies. We also have to attempt to refill your spot.

If you cancel between 60 and 120 days prior to the start date of your trip:
We will retain your deposit but we will return any additional money that you have paid.
One exception: If the trip sells out, I will offer a full refund minus a $150 processing fee.

If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the start date of the trip:
There is no refund. Photo tours require an enormous amount of work, advertising and prepaying expenses that are not refundable which occurs long before the start date of the trip. It is really difficult to fill a spot within the final weeks of the trip.
One exception: If we are able to refill you position, we may be able to offer (at our discretion) credit towards a future tour or a partial refund minus a $150 processing fee.

Please get trip insurance to protect yourself!
